Youth 30 Day Aerosols Use Data

In the IYS survey, students are asked “In the past 30 days, on how many days have you: Sniffed glue, breathed the contents of gases or sprays in order to get high?”

In 2018, less than 2% of Iowa youth reported they sniffed glue or breathed the content of gases or sprays to get high in the past 30 days. Also, 2% of 6th graders, 2% of 8th graders, and 1% of 11th graders reported having sniffed glue or breathed the content of gases or sprays to get high in the past 30 days.
