Perinatal Mortality Data
Perinatal mortality is a measure of deaths that occur in infants younger than 7 days of age plus fetal deaths that occur at 28 weeks or greater gestation, and are presented on a five year aggregate basis to reduce the presence of suppressed values due to small numbers. The data can be displayed at the county level, and includes stabilization of rates to better evaluate trends.
